I know nothing about this operator, which I found running a service in Basildon, Essex.

Last, but not least, of a trio of Waterford independents.

Another of the various independents to serve Waterford, Eire.

The first independent from Eire to feature here, Kenneally's operate a town service in Waterford.

Another of those independents that ran stage services during the late '80s/early '90s. The operation was later taken over by North Western Road Car.

A fairly long established concern, but hard to find. I finally caught up with one of their buses in Grays.

In the late 1980s Liverpool was a great place for independents & Fareway certainly added colour to the scene.

A small company, mainly concentrating on tendered services.

This operator competed with both Black Prince and First on the Leeds-Morley corridor.

Mainly a coach company, Simmonds ran a few tendered services in the 1980s.

I once found this company operating in York, but I've never seen them since!

This long established coach operator dabbled in tendered bus services for a short while.

A small West Hertfordshire operator.

Using a variety of heavyweight buses, Ron Lyles ran services around Dewsbury in the late '80s/early '90s.

Whether these two companies were connected is unknown to me, but I've put them together anyway, as I've only got a few pictures.

Another Northern Ireland operator. This one ran a service in its home town, with an incredible mix of vehicles.

The Londonderry & Lough Swilly Railway ran a network of rail lines until the 1950s, when they closed. However, the bus services continued and do so to the present day.

This company runs several bus routes around the Scottish new town of Cumbernauld.
